2015 intake successes include Lucy Frazer, Seema Kennedy, Ed Argar, Alan Mak, Wendy Morton, Jo Churchill and Rishi Sunak.

In 2017, he coached Kemi Badenoch, Gillian Keegan and Vicky Ford.

The Coaching

Although many of Graham’s clients have been successfully selected after only having one session with Graham, coaching ideally occurs as a sequence of sessions that each last 3 hours.

If there can only be one session, the time would be split between an intense 30-minute phone call and 2.5 hours face-to-face. The phone call would focus mainly on advising you how to craft the 3-minute Opening Speech, which must be done before seeing Graham at his London premises.

Areas focused on:

  • Identification of the client’s distinctive Personal Political Brand
  • Creation of the 3-minute Opening Speech
  • How to thrive during intense Q&A from Moderators and audience members
  • Face-to-face coaching time is split between Speech Content Sharpening, Delivery Coaching and Battle Conditions Q and A practise.

It is the Questioning phase that takes up the majority of the time during a Selection Final. It thus has a bigger influence than the 3-minute speech on whether the audience will vote for you. Graham therefore spends a large proportion of his coaching time on this aspect.

Graham’s coaching style is blunt, ruthless and uncompromising. It is not for the faint-hearted.
