Presentation Coaching for Accountants

Who’s it for?

This course is designed to equip accountants with the skills they need to achieve excellence in spoken communication. Courses are designed for a maximum of 6 participants.

Outcomes

Participants will leave with a robust, practical and repeatable presentation methodology that can be adapted to any high-pressure situation that requires use of the spoken word.

Course Overview

This is a 1-day in-house or offsite intensive course, designed to be a bold challenge to the slide-infested status quo of typical presentation practice.

Participants are screened and assessed by phone and email. They are also given a small amount of essential pre-course preparation work.

On the coaching day itself, participants will create and deliver a series of short, increasingly challenging presentations on both work and non-related themes.

6 is the ideal number of attendees, as it provides the best combination of group dynamic and time for personalised coaching feedback.

Workshops include:

  • Audience Analysis
  • Message Production
  • Rapid Content Preparation
  • Editing for Impact
  • Content Control
  • Spikes and Micro-Statements
  • Using Sound Snatches
  • Rehab from Powerpoint Prozac
  • Managing intensive Q & A
