“Developing the presentation skills of my team, who are from four countries and for many of whom English is a second language, would be challenging enough for most coaches. But given that they were all competent presenters before, I considered the challenge to be immense. Yet you rose to it and you got a result. On top of this, the work on the message itself was invaluable. We now have the skills to make the very best presentations with material that can have a real impact.”

Your observations were spot-on and undoubtedly contributed to a very successful evening.”

Dave Wilkins Group Marketing and Communications, Anisa Group – UK
“The hosting of an event that includes 200 partners and customers requires presentational punch to ensure corporate credibility. The time and quality of your research and preparation certainly became evident as the day progressed. You displayed a wide and appropriate knowledge, not only of the various companies within the Anisa Group but also of our products, partners and customers. Your energy, drive, knowledge, humour and impeccable time keeping quickly gained the respect and confidence of the presenters and the audience. The reactions and responses from the attendees have indeed been a great testimony to your excellent contribution to the success of the event – they all want you back again next year.”

The feedback we received from local Schering representatives attending the broadcast in 30 US cities indicated our audience of prominent American physicians thoroughly enjoyed the programme. Your experience in live television and commitment to excellence was evident throughout. I am particularly grateful for the tutoring you gave our field reporters. I am convinced that it was your coaching and calming influence that permitted them to perform like seasoned veterans.”

Henning Winther Nielsen Convention Manager, IBM – Spain
“As Host and Link Presenter for the Northern Region 100 Percent Club Graham held together the content and provided continuity for over 800 European delegates over a two-day period. Your humour, intellect and above all your timing are some of the reasons why the participants were so satisfied with your performance.”

Richard Atkinson Chief Executive, Holidaybreak plc
“His contribution, performing an entertaining and professional linking role, was much appreciated by those who attended. As well as being the link man for the event Graham also delivered the closing keynote speach. Overall, he made a most valuable and thoroughly professional contribution to the success of our conference.”

Deborah Lee Executive Manager to VP EMEA Partner Organisation, Lotus – Dubai

This was all done in a highly professional manner and the humour was appropriate to an international audience and well received.”

Tony Solomon Marketing Communications Director, Zurich Financial Services – ZIFA – UK
“At this pivotal half day event for a thousand ZIFA’s staff and partners Graham’s input as Event Host and Link Presenter lightened the load with laughter and gave the interviews teeth. Sue Wright Marketing Communications Manager, IBM – UK
“Graham has been Host and Link Presenter IBM Global Services Kick-off three years in a row. The 1 day conference for 400 included interviews, Q & A sessions and links, which needed to be clear, fun and memorable. Without your contribution we would not have been able to achieve the desired aims of the event… questionnaire feed-back and comments – very good balance of humour and getting the message over, excellent, amusing, good time-keeping and linkage, he convinced me.”

Ard Suvaal PR Director, Allseas – Brussels
“Graham’s hosting of this all day event involved Q & A, Interviews, Awards, Links and Audience Participation with a 600 strong audience from all over Europe. As a central figure in the show, you managed to hold the attention of the audience for over two hours with ease, and you made a complicated programme into a very entertaining experience… You paid a lot of attention to the feeling we wanted to get over to the audience and to the needs of the type of audience you had in front of you.”

David Thorpe Manager, EMEA PartnerWorld for Software, Lotus – Berlin
“The audience of 600 business partners were united by a host who provided inconspicuous control, precision and humour. I believe the effort you invest in understanding our business and the audience, building and tailoring your material to hit on subjects that are relevant to them, and delivering it with great clarity, all contribute to your success with this international audience – right down to the detail of the cultural composition of the audience as to which jokes would work, and how best to deliver them. I also appreciated the time you spent reviewing some of the material with me to ensure that it was meeting the right balance for our company, and that we would be comfortable with it – I think this meant you hit the exact mark with the Business Partners – they loved it.”

Gareth Denley Director of General Business, IBM – UK
“He has also performed a similar role for the General Business Division following their unpleasant experience with a celebrity TV presenter the previous year. I recognise how difficult it can be to establish the appropriate tone and balance at a meeting… I have experienced the embarrassment when the ‘link man’ gets it wrong! You however, pitched it just right. The content and delivery of your links were exactly what was required …I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone who is organising a similar event.”

Andrew Garbutt Business Services Director, Prudential Corporation – UK
“Sometimes the job of Link Presenter is little more than providing the corporate glue to join the day together. The continuity of having you as part of the team linked to the dual role that you played in the programme was key to the success achieved. Your professionalism and enthusiasm made everybody who had a ‘performing’ role feel very comfortable.”

Rebbecca Trenorden Corporate Communications Executive, Focus Central London (Training and Enterprise Council)

Denis Hart Director of Corporate Communications, Reed Business Info=

“Awards are a necessary business motivator (as a mark of effort and enterprise). However, the distribution of these awards can often be long-winded, uneventful and flat. You made our awards inspirational, aspirational and fun. This was an extraordinary feat considering the lateness of the hour. You made it a great evening for our audience, our sponsors and other celebrity guests. Though you have hosted events for us before you never cease to amaze me with the breadth and accuracy of your humour. You were, again, a huge success. As ever you were authoritative and extremely funny in just the right proportions.”

The two groups who attended the Institutes differed quite considerably and you changed the content and attitude of the pitch according to the reactions of the two audiences. We asked the two groups for feedback, which we have now processed for your information. The first audience had a satisfaction rating of 96.6% and the second 98.1%. Some of the comments which were expressed were ‘brilliant’ and ‘excellent’ and a great deal of people rated the presentation the highlight of the whole conference.”

Roger Clayton Marketing Services Manager, Guilbert
“I’ve lost count of the number of delegates who have expressed how much they enjoyed your presentation, both the points of content and, of course, the hugely funny side. We did have a ‘big name’ on hand to make us laugh after dinner the same evening and more than one person has suggested we would have done better to have you back.”
